During these months of treatment, the doctor did MRI and X-ray which showed a pinched nerve in my neck. So in addition to pain in my lower back from the Arthritis, I had severe pain in my upper back from the pinched nerve. At this point I was totally incapacity and the upper back pain was severe and constant. Nothing seem to relieve the pain. I took pain medication, anti-inflammatory (that the insurance co. said I was eligible for), and finally went for acupuncture.
After three weeks of this pain, I went for acupuncture, which seem to help. Then one day after calling Jeanie off and on, I went over to see her. By this time my personality was changing and I was unhappy with my progress, because I was always in severe pain. I was becoming a very angry person, but I still tried to go on with some of my normal activities.
I got up that morning and was a wreck, trying to get my clothes on and tie my shoes was a chore, but my husband helped. I tried to shake the angry feeling I had, and thought it would wear off before I got to Jeanie's house; but it didn't. When I walked through her door I was in tears, and all I could say was "I feel so angry, and so tried of going through this pain". Now remember we were going to work on business papers that was the purpose of the visit. But when Jeanie saw the state I was in she said; take your coat off and put your purse down and come with me. She took me to a room with exercise equipment in it, and we walked up to a large punching bag hanging from the ceiling. She gave me a pair of gloves and said punch this bag and pretend it is the anger you are feeling. And I did, I punched and yelled at the pain and anger I was feeling until I was too tired to do anything else. Then she said we will work on healing you today, which is more important than the paperwork. It was so wonderful to hear her say that "I" was the most important person, and we would work on healing me. She pulled up a comfortable chair and pulled up my numerology chart and went to work. She talked about living my "truth". Letting go of solving the problems of everyone in my life and focus on my energy. Instead of always thinking of would I should or have to do, think about what I want to do. Instead of being the victim, become the suvivor.
Take a deep breath, and breathe in (breathe is life) peace and joy and release negative energy. The body is made to heal itself, if we allow it to. Allow everyone around me to live their life and learn there lessons through the process of living. Let go of being the Co-dependant and enjoy living my own truth. By being so involved in everyone's life around I was neglecting my own wants and desires. What a wonderful day and the love being expressed toward me, I wish everyone could share this sensitivity and guidance when they needed it. I feel so fortunate to have a friend like Jeanie.
I left Jeanie's house feeling better that I had for weeks, and minimal pain.
